UPS and FedEx parking and blocking traffic on two lane downtown streets– what makes it stupid is there is a delivery-truck-only spot half a block or less away that’s empty. If we park in it we get a ticket, they block traffic and nothing happens.
Well, they got the stupid park opened at MLK and Market Street… only cost a little over 10 million dollars. City announced that a lot of cost was paid by private donations – what was the city share of the cow pasture park? What happens when it rains and there is an event planned – do we stand in the mud?
Figgy’s new place opened down the street – what a great new place, so much bigger and nicer than the old spot.
I greatly dislike when parents let their small children act like little assholes in restaurants and stores. If you can’t control them, leave them at home. Shut them up!
How many chain eateries can Hamilton Place support? Some new ones opening, some old ones closing.
Indians – Native-Americans, blacks – African-Americans, southern – redneck-Americans… are there no just “Americans” left?
If you can’t stand it because Trump is getting things done, do you dislike your country and fellow Americans that much?
The new name of the park at MLK and Market is The Cow Pasture (I jest).
Why do we still have red light cameras at certain intersections? I thought they were gone.
Did you see how BAD (low) Chattanooga ranked on a well-run cities list?
Still don’t see the bicycle lanes downtown being used – do see the parking and driving problems they cause.
Glad to see UTC Football off to a great start… don’t expect much from UT.
I can never run for public office – I was inappropriate with a girl when we were in the first grade.
Will not pat $10 to $12 for a hamburger– what can I say, I’m not that crazy.
The government should raid more businesses that employ illegals. There is a fine structure in place. That could solve some of the problems (carpet mills, restaurants, chicken plants, construction).
Got a note from the alphabet, they don’t miss the letter “N”.
What’s going to happen when the implosion happens in the condo, apartment, and new restaurant/brewpub bars market?
Too many people out in public with their faces buried in their phones -look up, there’s a world out there.
Until next time,
